Craft Time

      On the weekends I like to take out some of my craft supplies and create things. Usually it's something to decorate the house for whatever holiday or season the month may represent. For instance in September I made some silvery apples and some with red chunky glitter because to me September will always mean back to school and apple picking season. Lately I have been doing some autumnal crafting, like making a wreath for my front door. While I am being crafty I usually have some sort of mushy Hallmark movie playing in the background. What can I say I have a soft spot for cheesy romances where you know it's going to end happily ever after.


      Luckily this week there was no glitter involved. There may have been a joke made about be getting glitter all over the bed once. Basically my darling child said "I thought we talked about this. No more strippers in the bed!". I am totally raising that one right if I do say so myself.

You Look Fine

"You look fine", that is what she told me when she woke me up from my nap to take a picture in the yard. I knew I shouldn't have trusted her, you never trust an older sibling. I should have learned that over the years, but did I? Obviously not or else I wouldn't look like I got into a fight with a squirrel.

Oh well even looking like still have sleepiness in my eyes we are still a cute pair, though maybe next time I will decide when we take a picture!

So today I had a relaxing plan, sit outside with a nice glass of sweet lemonade on a hot summer day. Lo and behold this little raccoon steals my seat and starts doing a dance! I figured he wanted some lemonade too so I poured him a bowl. A good time was had by all.

Little Blue Love Bug

With the little blue love bug ready to roll I am sneaking off for an adventure. I think maybe I will drive along the coast and maybe find some inspiration. Maybe I will be inspired to write, or draw or some other sort of artistic expression. Though maybe not painting, I don't think my skin could take another scrubbing like that!
