A little boost

Some days I have trouble finding the motivation go get things done. Those are the days I turn to coffee, the magic potion. Coffee get my synapses firing...most days. However some days I need a little extra boost and that is where sugar comes in. What goes better with coffee than a donut?



Luckily those donut days are few and far between or else I wouldn't be able to button my pants. Today has been a two cup kind of day, so far. The day is no where near it's end and I still have much more to get done. Why did I agree to have company over this weekend?

Sunny Days and Damaged Shoulder

Why yes I am finally back after a three month or so absence. Back in May I messed up my shoulder...bad. Not being able to use one whole arm for more than two months sucks! But now I am back and I got to enjoy a little of the sun while I was healing. Hitting the waves was much more fun than physical therapy.


Before getting into the water you need to test it. It was cold, but not freeze your bits cold. From here the waves look fairly tame, but looks can be deceiving. Some of those waves can knock you off your ass. Or they can toss you around and you get a sand rash. Next time I try boogie boarding I am wearing a rash guard! The nice thing about bigger waves is that they bring the surfers to the beach. I am not going to lie, I was sneaking a little peek here and there at then. I was studying their techniques, as realizing I am going to need be a little more graceful before I can attempt surfing.


That won't stop me from observing the surfers in action anytime soon.

Two Ladies, one event

The title says it all. If you haven't been to Sanarae yet here is a look at two different outfits that could be yours. Of course there are others, but we are only two bodies. I picked this cute little set from M.I.X because it had such a vintage feel to it. If I could time travel all I would do is shop, and maybe drink, but mostly shop. Bunny on the other hand went for a more cozy look with a big sweater.


We are both rocking some hair from Wasabi Pills, different styles of course. I went for a short do to and to that vintage-y feel. If you happen to wonder about the look on my face I was mid eye roll about whatever it was she was going on about. Now I must dash and get things done before the rain comes a calling.

I promise the title of the post will make sense when we get down to the credits. Well I guess from a quick glance you can see we are wearing the same sweater, just in different colors. The outfit comes with just the sweater or the sweater and skirt. I wasn't in the mood for a skirt. Luckily Bunny is always willing to be the girlier of the two of us, so she wore the skirted version. I think she looked more spring-like, though I look like a bee, so maybe we both nailed the spring thing. I don't have anything really brilliant to add today, so I will move onto the credits.
