Fitting in

      There once was a wee little dragon named Tolly, at least that was the name she decided on. You see when Tolly hatched from her egg she was all alone. She decided to wander the mystical land she was living in to see if she could find her family.

     The first creatures she came across were a group of geese. Though she didn't have a beak like them she thought maybe because they were a similar color maybe they were her family. She was so excited! Sadly the geese ignored poor Tolly and so she set off again in search for a family of her own.

      Next she found a family of unicorns, and while she had two horns she thought maybe they were her family so she curled up for a little nap. While the momma unicorn was kind enough to let Tolly nap with her own babe, she explained that they were not her family and wished her well in her search.

      Tolly came across a family of deer and got so excited thinking she finally found her family. She must be a baby deer, she has horns and a tail. However the deer were quick to explain to Tolly that she was not a deer and was in fact a wee little dragon. The deer did not know where all the other dragons had gone, but like the unicorns, wished her luck.

     After spending the entire day looking for family Tolly decided to curl up for the night, thinking maybe the right family may find her instead. She closed her eyes and drifted off to sleep with dreams of a family playing in her head...
