Paperdolls - Day one

I know not a very creative title. Here is the premise for this series of posts, for a while on plurk Aevalah would post a paperdoll link and a bunch of us would make one and share them. I thought it would be fun to try and mirror those looks in SL, with a little creative license because some things are harder to find than others.
This is the first one I attempted. As you can see I tried to keep the basics the same, but changed up the socks and things like that. For the record all the peperdolls this week are going to be of the non-fantasy type, because those are so much harder.
Oh and I tried to pick things with various colors so you won't be seeing a weeks worth of yellow.

I will admit, I forgot all about The Emperor's New Groove, and Kuzko too. I had to go and google it. I feel ashamed. However googling it gave me the idea for the background for this picture so Yay!

No crown on my head but I do have an adorable bow.

Look of the Day

As part of my New Year's resolution for SL I decided to work on tidying up and purging a lot from my inventory. Of course by doing that I come across things that I forgot I even had. Of course I have had this outfit set for over a week, but the flu came to visit me and well I could accomplish nothing. That was then and this is now though and that is my look of the day. Look of the Day

This is the look that happens when I finally attack my "to sort" folder and find some buried treasure. I have a bad habit of throwing things into my "to sort" folder and then leaving it there, which is what happened to this dress and necklace. Now don't let my negligence reflect poorly on these items. I mean I love them both because they are both yellow. In fact the dress is like a transformer, the top, belt and skirt can be one of three colors. The colors are white, black and obviously yellow.I really should have blogged all this sooner. Oh well better late than never.

Tyrian Purple

Hmm I couldn't think of a good title to go with this color, lets blame the lack of coffee. Oh well, on we go. Sometimes I can't seem to pick what I want to wear for a certain color so I turn to my friends. This time I showed Lola the color and she picked this dress.
The hair has been referred to as my Jessica Rabbit hair (seriously if you don't know who that is I am gonna feel so old!). It being my Jessica Rabbit hair does that mean that I am not bad i just rez that way? And on that note here are your credits.

Working hard

Things aren't all fun and games at Miss Phire's, there is real erm...work that gets done there. Some of the girls take pride in their work and invited me to visit prior to a customers arrival.


She was very kind and invited me to sit for a little chat with her. She told me that she enjoys her job and as a matter of fact the man on his way to see her is one of her regulars. She even showed off the delicate necklace that he bought her as a gift for her recent birthday.


She wouldn't tell be who her client was but I have to believe he is a man of means. Well this is my last report from Miss Phire's and it has been eye opening. I don't see a career move in my future, but at least these ladies seem to be well cared for, from what I saw.
