Saturdays child has to work for a living

Poor little Saturday's child, all work and no play makes life dull and boring for her. The broken down Carnival is no fun anymore, No one seems to last very long here. No one to keep her company except for her bombs. At least they are pretty when they go Boom!



Saturday's child (who must work for a living) reminds me of the lonely life of a blogger in SL. Here I am, trotting on my daily rounds of exploration, seeking for treasure. Hethr Engle and I once had a conversation about what we do all day in SL, and it comes down to "stand around and put on clothing," interspersed by "shop." Sometimes, in the early morning, all alone on a sim, it feels like I've discovered a place frozen in time. Birds chirp, sheep stand around and graze, but nobody else is there to affirm that everything that I'm seeing exists... The outfit for a hard day's work is a suit, grungy enough for shopping in urban decay, tidy enough for tea in Caledon.




I decided to go with the first thing that popped into my head when I thought of "works for a living". Maybe it was because it is Saturday or something completely different but I immediately when to..stripper. Maybe it is because that is what is prevalent for work in SL or maybe I was just looking for an excuse to get up on a pole without a crowd.




No need to work hard for todays credits!
