Mondays Child is fair of face

As part of a special installment this week on the blog we are going to be exploring the poem Mondays Child. We have invited Achariya to join us for these as we thought it would be nice to see three different points of view and three different looks. I hope you enjoy these as much as we have creating them.


Monday is the beginning of the week and normally the most hellacious day for me -- therefore I decided I'd start the week on the diabolical edge, especially because we'll be ending with the child born on the Sabbath day! This Monday's child knows she's fair of face, because she tends to slaughter anyone who disagrees. The skin is fair on its own however -- MiaSnow's Steel Starlet. There are many kinds of beauty in Second Life, and it's good to celebrate the range!


While I admit most Mondays are pretty bad, they also offer hope, a new week a new beginning. For me being fair of face on Monday means you need a fresh innocent sort of look which is why I chose the new Babyface skin from BP*. It has a childlike feel to it and lets face no one is more full of hope and promise for the future then a child.


Being the giant anime geek that I am, when choosing my Monday's child look I knew I was going to go with Chii from Chobits. To me she has the ultimate fair of face innocence look. The large sweet eyes, the gorgeous dress she is always portrayed in. Everything about her is beautiful. For many a persocom is the ultimate in feminine beauty, the ideal woman. Yet despite their beauty they are still nothing more than a machine.
